China Glaze “Happy Holiglaze”

Hi all!

Today I have some holiday colors to share with you. I purchased 2 China Glaze Holiday sets from Sally Beauty this year. China Glaze Holiday collections are always my favorite,  and Sally’s has them in cute gift sets for really excellent deals.  I got the “Be Merry” kit and the “Dash of Dazzle” set. Blue ComboLet’s start with the “Dash of Dazzle” set. This set has 3 full size polishes including a blue foil, a gold foil, and a silver, gold, and blue bar glitter. First up is “So Blue Without You” which is a gorgeous frosty blue metallic. The color and formula were amazing, and I used 2 coats. It almost makes your fingertips look like they are glowing. This is definitely one of my favorites from the collection.

Next is this amazing color called “Mingle with Kringle”. I LOVE this color. It is my favorite holiday polish released this season. I am not a huge gold polish fan, but this color is a jaw-dropper. It isn’t too brassy but it still makes me envision jingle bells on a sleigh. The formula on this one is also fantastic. I used 2 coats in this swatch.

Finally is “Bells Will Be Blinging” which is my least favorite from both sets. This is a clear base with silver and gold bar glitter, medium sized holographic silver glitter,  and blue micro glitter. In the bottle I really liked this, but on the nails, I just didn’t didn’t find it that appealing. I swatched it over a few different colors to give you an idea of how it can look, and on my ring finger is the polish on it’s own. Bases: index finger- Sally Hansen “White On”, middle finger-  China Glaze “Sunday Funday”, and pinky- Sally Hansen “Black Heart”.

Next up is the “Be Merry and Bright” set. This set includes 4 miniature polishes on the pink and purple spectrum: 2 glitters and 2 foils.Pink Combo

“Just Be-Claws” is a beautiful red foil; perfect for the holidays. This type of color is my all-time fave. I can never have enough shiny red polishes! The formula was amazing on this one. I could have used only 1 coat, but decided to use 2 for the picture. Color pay-off was awesome. (Please ignore the smudge on my pinky, lol)

Just Be-Claws

“Santa Red My List” has a misleading name. It is a frosty pink foil that is really pretty. The formula was the same as “Just Be-Claws” with full opacity with only 1 coat.  2 coats  were used below.Santa Red My List

Next is “Put a Bow on It”, and I love this glitter. This is a pinky-purple micro glitter suspended in a clear base, and it is by far the best formulated glitter polish I have ever tried. The densely packed glitter distributes so easily over the nail that you could totally wear this one alone instead of as a top coat. Once again, in the swatch below, the polish is on it’s own on my ring finger. Bases: index finger- Sally Hansen “White On”, middle finger- Essie “Jamaican Me Crazy”, and pinky- “Sally Hansen “Black Heart”.

Last, but definitely not least, is “Be Merry, Be Bright” and this is my favorite glitter from the collection. The color combo is so unique, and the formula is amazing. The combination of different sized violet and pink glitter is really eye-catching. I was able to use just 1 coat in the picture below. I wore this to work on all my nails on top of OPI’s “You’re Such a Budapest” and I got a ton of compliments. Base colors: index finger- Essie “Bikini So Teeny”, middle finger- Zoya “Mason”, and pinky- Sally Hansen “Black Heart”.Be Merry and Bright

So there you have it! My top picks from these sets are “Mingle with Kringle”, “So Blue Without You”, and “Be Merry, Be Bright”. If you were looking into just purchasing 1 or 2 bottles from this collection, I would definitely pick from those 3. Once again China Glaze wow’s me with another holiday collection. Well I hope you have enjoyed, and let me know which is your favorite!
