Today I have the first half of a two-part design. This look is perfect for summer: bright, shiny, and neon! I used all China Glaze neon polishes for this design, because they are basically my favorite neon polishes there are. This nail art is pretty much as easy as it gets, so that is a huge plus! I am serious… even Quasimodo could paint this look on your nails. ;-p
To create this design, paint two coats of white polish on each nail. Once it is dry, rip a make-up sponge into small pieces. Using one neon color at a time, paint a small portion of the sponge and dab the color into random spots on each nail. This is supposed to be fun and abstract, so just do whatever your heart/hand wants you to. Repeat on each nail with every color, until you are pleased with the look. I went over each color about 3 times to get this opacity.
It’s really that simple. My next post will show how I took this design to the next level with some fun stamping, so be sure to stay tuned for that! Hope you are all enjoying your summer, now that it has officially begun! I don’t know if I will ever get used to not having a summer break… even though I haven’t in almost 5 years!!! …sigh… Oh well! That is life I am told. Anyways, I will talk to you guys later.
